Kafe Kustika is a relaxed café tucked away in the Alam Damai neighborhood of Cheras, offering a broad menu that appeals to those who enjoy a mix of local favorites and creative fusion dishes. The café feels spacious yet cozy, making it a suitable spot for casual meetups, family lunches, or a quiet break during the workday. Its location makes it especially convenient for locals in the area or those who work nearby.

The atmosphere leans toward laid-back comfort, with attentive service and a friendly, unpretentious vibe. Visitors often come here to enjoy an extended meal rather than just a quick coffee, given the range of local-style and western-inflected dishes available. You’ll find hearty options like Big Breakfast and Lamb Burger sitting alongside crowd-pleasers such as Balinese Fried Rice and Creamy Carbonara, while the coffee selection adds a thoughtful local twist, including Vietnamese Latte Cheese and specialty lattes like Caramel or Cappuccino.

For food lovers, the cafe offers a balance between lighter fare and more substantial meals — the Kam Heong Chicken with Rice and the Nasi Lemak Berempah come highly recommended by regulars. Desserts such as waffles served with vanilla ice cream encourage sharing, ideal for ending a meal with friends or family. The menu also includes interesting iced and blended drinks, from popcorn caramel to fruity frappes, fitting for a casual and cooling refreshment during midday visits.

Kafe Kustika suits a range of visitors: locals wanting a cozy, less crowded space to enjoy comfort food and coffee; office workers looking for a meal out or a caffeine break close to work; and families wanting a relaxed environment for gatherings. Most people seem to favor daytime or early evening visits when the café is at its liveliest yet still holds onto its calm vibe. The setting supports both short stops for a good cup of coffee and longer table stays to savor meals without rush.

In essence, Kafe Kustika fits well into the fabric of Alam Damai as a meeting place where a diverse menu and warm hospitality make it a dependable spot for everyday dining, blending familiar tastes with a few playful, less conventional options that keep the experience interesting.

Such spacious and cosy cafe the owner runs with together with his partner. They serve variety of food. Rice, pasta, noodle, burger, big breakfast, coffee, tea... It's under one roof! Super attentive staffs and friendly owner. It's the best place to enjoy local / fusion cuisines in such a nice neighborhood, together with friends or family. Oh ya. If you are lucky, then you might get the chance to try their house dessert (the time I went was carrot cake but no chance to wait for it to freeze T__T)

Very secluded place unless you stayed somewhere near Alam Damai. I when there for a family gathering. Very nice ambience. Love the service. The price fits the taste of the food. Food recommendations Smoked Duck Masak Lemak Cili Api Spaghetti, Nasi Goreng Kampung and Creamy Carbonara. Reminder: it's not an authentic carbonara yet it's yummy. Desert such waffle is a sharing portion unless you came there just for dessert. Their service is "paid before a meal". Place your order at the cashier counter. The lady cashier (can't remember her name) is friendly hence you can ask what the menu is if you aren't sure what to order. After paying for your meal, they'll give you a number. Back to your sit and chat and they will come and serve your hot meal to your table.

The cafè that I’ve always been to every time going to SA Bike. This cafe is something. The environment is nice. You will find your comfort and cosy here. The service is always great. The food? Superb is understatement, it’s above superb. I love the Nasi Lemak Berempah. Mixed it with ice latte, finish it with Burnt Cheesecake and you will be in heaven haha.

This fairly new cafe in a quiet part of Alam Damai offers nice comfy dining environment for families seeking a not too crowded easy parking place for a good meal. The restaurant is spacious inside with tables well laid out in a cool air conditioned environment. Menu may not be extensive but it has a bit of everything from breakfast to western to local food selection. Importantly the portion is huge and prices are very reasonable.
